MOGO andSpiro Kenya, Africa’s largest electric vehicle player, have signed an asset financing agreement that will see the deployment of 1,000 electric motorbikesacrossKenya by the end of July 2024.

The objective of this partnership is to further promote adoption of electricmotorcycles.
This will reduce theenvironmental and healthimpact caused by greenhouse gas emissions from transportation and enhance urban mobility.
In Africa, greenhouse gas emissions from transportation are growing at a rate of 7% each year, and air pollution is the second biggest killer acrossthecontinent, associated with heart disease, stroke, and lung cancer.
